What is ICT ? Information and communication technology (ICT) has accelerated the growth of the global economy and improved the quality life of the world’s inhabitants. ICT has brought new ways of creating livelihood for people. The diffusion of ICT has also increased year by year and made it possible to reduced poverty.

Uses of ICT in Communication and Education • ICT in Communication – has created a ‘global village.Now,we can communicate with others across the world like next-door neighbor.Now,we have technologies like instant messaging,voice over IP (VOIP) . And video-conferencing. Beside ,we have social networking sites like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter.All these allow us to remain in contact all over the world. • ICT in Education – the modern education system has become greatly dependent on ICT.Now education institutions have multimedia classroom.Students get computer and internet facilities. So, they can gather available information on their project or topic. Through the internet, they are also able to connect with the world famous libraries for reading material

What I have learned ?ICT helps me to expand my knowledge about new technologies like computer. I learned a lot here before, I didn’t know anything about it, but when I started reading about the lesson, I learned a lot.
